Who am I?

Hey guys! Just wanted to start out by introducing myself. My name is Szymon, and I love anything to do with coffee, fashion, music, technology, traveling, and Lady Gaga. On a typical day, you’ll find me sitting at one of the many bustling Starbucks locations in the city while listening to the energizing synth-pop notes of Lady Gaga’s latest album, ARTPOP. I don’t know what it is about the enticing aroma of a good Espresso, but it definitely keeps me coming back for more! Another thing that I love to do is spend most of my days around technology. I’m always either fixing someones cracked iPhone, speeding up their slow computer, or just reading up on the latest news about the latest and greatest piece of technology on the market. I feel as if technology is definitely an integral part of my life, and that’s actually what I would love to be around when I’ll be working. My dream is to own my own computer system management firm, or at the very least, work at a firm that works with computer systems as a manager. As you can probably tell by now, I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to things I like to do and things that define me as a person. Another fun little thing that I love to do, which just adds to my list of eclectic activities is traveling. The idea of traveling, whether by bus, plane, or train just gives me an electrifying feeling. Out of the multitude of places that I’ve traveled, I think that New York City is my favorite. The general energy and propensity of the people there makes me want to frolic around like a careless schoolboy that just finished his last assignment of the week.

I created this e-portfolio not only to showcase my mandated writing assignments for all to see, but also to share a little piece of myself with anyone who reads my writings.  Although I may not be the most important or interesting person in the world, I believe that we all have something fun and interesting to say about ourselves. I love expressing my feelings, and although writing isn’t my forte, I still think I can do a pretty good job of doing so though my e-portfolio.

I hope that anyone that reads my writings will at the very least think about what I have written. I don’t aim to change anyone’s views on any specific topic, but rather, enlighten them into a broader or different view of that topic. Trying to change someones views is like trying to teach and old dog new tricks. You might succeed, but more likely than not, you will fail.
